The spring break is almost here and some facilities and services at UEA will have reduced opening hours and partial closures. See below for full details.
Student Services
Student Services will be closed between Thursday 28 March and Tuesday 2 April inclusive.
Student Services Residents (SSRs) will be on duty overnight between Thursday 28 March and Tuesday 2 April for students living in university residences.
A full list of support services and self-led activities are available to students and contact details can be found on the Student Services my.uea page.
If you need to speak to someone urgently about your mental health or someone you are concerned about, do not delay in seeking help. Contact your out of hours GP; dial 111 - option 2; or attend the Accident & Emergency department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. For a list of contact details and useful links, visit the Crisis Support webpage.
Togetherall is a mental health service offering all UEA students 24/7 support with trained clinicians online.
Student Information Zone
The Student information Zone (SIZ) will be closed between Thursday 28 March through to Tuesday 2 April inclusive. Visit the SIZ my.uea page for more information.
Medical Centre
The UEA Medical Centre (UMS) will close at 6.30pm on Thursday 28 March and reopen at 8am on Tuesday 2 April. Visit the UMS website for full details.
For medical assistance during UMS closure, call NHS 111 or visit a Norwich Walk-in Centre. Call 999 if it's a life-threatening emergency.
Security
The Security Team are available throughout the spring break, operating a 24/7 service. For general security enquiries, the team can be contacted on 01603 592352, or by emailing security@uea.ac.uk. In an emergency, contact Security via the SafeZone app or by calling 01603 592222.
Estates
The Estates Helpdesk will close at 4pm on Wednesday 27 March and re-open at 8am on Wednesday 3 April. Emergency maintenance issues can be reported via telephone on 01603 592121.
The Transport lodge will be closed from Thursday 28 March to Tuesday 2 April inclusive.
IT Support Services
The IT Service Desk will offer remote support through Live Chat between 10am and 4pm on Thursday 28 March and Tuesday 2 April, and will also pick up any issues reported via the IT Service Portal. The IT Services AI Assistant is available for support 24/7 during this period.
Post Room
The Post Room is open for student post collections between 9am to 4.15pm Monday to Friday. The Postroom will be closed from Thursday 28 March to Tuesday 2 April inclusive.

The Shop
The Shop will stay open as usual over the spring break with reduced opening hours of 10am to 4pm between 28 March and 2 April inclusive. The Shop will be closed during the morning of 5 April for a stocktake.
Unio
Unio will stay open as usual over the spring break but will be closed on Saturday 30 March and Sunday 31 March.
bar(su)
bar(su) will be closed between Thursday 28 March and Tuesday 2 April inclusive.
Sainsbury Centre
The Sainsbury Centre will be open daily from 10am to 5pm but will be closed on Monday 1 April. The Sculpture Park will be open every day during daylight hours. Modern Life Cafe will be closed between Thursday 28 March and Tuesday 2 April. CareerCentral
CareerCentral will be closed from Thursday 28 March through to Tuesday 2 April inclusive. You can access their online resources and live vacancies on My CareerCentral
Student Union Offices
Student Union offices, including the Advice Centre, will be closed from Thursday 28 March to Tuesday 2 April inclusive.
Sportspark
The Sportspark will remain open over the spring break. For full details on activities available and opening times, visit the Sportspark website.
The Library
The Library building will be open 24/7 throughout the spring break, with access for visitors and those without a campus card between 7am to 7pm. Between 7pm and 7am access to the Library is available to those with a valid campus card only.
The Library Helpdesk will be closed from 5pm on Wednesday 27 March until 9am on Wednesday 3 April. For any Library queries, email at lib.helpdesk@uea.ac.uk and a reply will be sent as soon as possible from Wednesday 3 April.
Postgraduate Research Service (PGRS)
The PGRS will be closed from Thursday 28 March to Tuesday 2 April inclusive.
The PGRS Reception desk in SCI 0.65 and LiveChat will be closed from Monday 25 March to Thursday 4 April inclusive. The pgr.enquiries.admiss@uea.ac.uk inbox will be monitored intermittently between 25 and 27 March, and between 3 and 4 April. For any urgent matters, contact your usual team using Graduate School or programme email addresses.

Learning and Teaching Service (LTS)
LTS will be closed from Thursday 28 March to Tuesday 2 April inclusive.
Buses
Spring break bus arrangements can be found on the FirstBus and Konectbus websites.
Accommodation
The Accommodation Office will close at 5pm on Wednesday 27 March and re-open at 9.30am on Wednesday 3 April. If you are locked out of your room, contact Security on 01603 592352. Emergency maintenance issues can be reported to Estates via telephone on 01603 592121.
