Norwich Bicycle Repair Cooperative Ltd, who deliver the Dr Bike repair service on campus, celebrate their 10-year anniversary this year and will undergo essential modernisation works to mark the occasion.
Dr Bike currently operate from a cabin that is no longer fit for purpose, so this will be replaced with a new cabin containing a new workshop and retail facilities.
Dr Bike will close in its current location on Friday 31 May and will offer all but significant repairs from their temporary base from Monday 17 June through to mid-September. During this time, you will find Dr Bike just a short walk along Waveney Road to the rear of Broadview Lodge. Signposting will be in place when works start.
We will keep you updated on developments over the summer months, along with a confirmed re-opening date.
Norwich Bicycle Repair Cooperative Ltd are an independent, not-for-profit social enterprise providing cost-effective bicycle repair services for staff, students and the local community. If you would like to contribute to the repair works, Dr Bike have set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for the refit.
The process and policy for the digital signage system has been revised and updated with clear step-by-step instructions on how to create a digital screen template, updated submission guidelines and a new digital signage submission form.
