Updating UEA’s logo in line with accessible and inclusive brand

As shared on Tuesday 1 March, UEA has been evolving its brand guidelines by following accessibility and inclusivity standards and best practice, in order to offer an experience accessible to as many people as possible.
As part of this evolution, the core colour palette has seen an update – UEA Magenta has become UEA Pink and UEA Purple has become UEA Lilac. The reason for this is that the University’s core colours have been tested when combined with black, and the updated colour palette provides best possible legibility for as many audiences as possible.
Please find the updated logos within the UEA Logos folder of Asset Bank.
All staff are also asked to please replace the UEA logo in your email signature with a UEA Standard Logo in Black with Blue Glint. If you encounter any issues please contact brand@uea.ac.uk.
To add the blue glint logo to your signature, follow these steps:
1. Download the UEA Standard Logo in Black with Blue Glint
2. In Outlook, Click File > Options > Mail > Signatures.
3. Click the signature you want to edit.
4. Select the current magenta logo and delete it.
5. Click the image of a computer screen in front of a picture in the toolbar under the 'Edit signature' menu (to the right of the button that says 'Business Card).
6. Find the file that you've downloaded in your 'Downloads' folder (This PC --> Downloads). It will be titled 'UEA_Standard Logo_Blue Glint_PNG_RGB_N_A_41791'.
7. Click 'Insert' and the logo will appear in your signature.
8. Click OK to Save. When you open up a new email you should now see the new logo in your signature.
