Following discussion at the December Timetabling and Room Booking Board, which includes Student Union representation, it has been agreed
that the way students book large rooms, such as lecture theatres or specialist spaces such as IT labs, will change to ensure room space is optimised for teaching.
With immediate effect, you will no longer be able to book a large room (e.g., a lecture theatre) or a specialist room (e.g., an IT lab)
via Booker. To book a large or specialist room, please email timetabling.roombooking@uea.ac.uk
at least 7 days in advance of the booking date. You can continue to book small rooms through
Booker as usual.
For
student groups, please continue to use the current process for student room bookings available via the uea(su)
