Students, staff and Sportspark users are reminded of restrictions in place for the use of the Earlham Park car park, located next to The Enterprise Centre.
While new permanent signage is being produced, a temporary road sign will be in place to remind students that parking is not permitted, unless using the space for visiting Earlham Park, up to a maximum of two hours.
What are the parking restrictions?
Parking spaces are only available, up to a maximum of two hours, for those making exclusive use of Earlham Park. Some spaces are also reserved solely for visitors to The Enterprise Centre. Students and other users should not make use of the car park.
What could happen if I am found to be breaking these restrictions?
You could risk an enforcement notice but, more importantly, the University is breaking The Enterprise Centre's building consent from the council. This puts the University at risk of alienating the local community, who use these parking spaces for dog walking at Earlham Park and use of the café.
They have also started a petition to make UEA aware of the number of offenders.
